Great update! Christian, you're doing awesome. Keep up the hard work. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. I'll come visit one day soon.
Thanks for sharing Christian! Your hard work is inspiring. You know...the alphabet thing with the feet is an old dance warm up... I never knew you had such pretty dancer feet! You and Jess are in our thoughts every single day. Trev and I will be in soon to see you. Eileen
Christian, Leta and I are reading your blog together often and praying for you. You are an inpiration to us all. We at Buckner sure miss seeing your shiney head around here. Keep up the hard work!
Thank you to all who are making this blog happen it sure has made it easy to cheer on Christian and to feel a part of his recovery process.
Christian, although I've been to visit you in the daytime and even slept over a few times at the hospital, this is the first I've actually seen of your PT and/or OT. I was tearing up watching you move so much! I was also laughing at your remarks - I seriously think your attitude is AMAZING! Jessi is lucky to have such a determined, funny, good-lookin' guy fighting his way back. I can almost hear the theme song from "Rocky" when I watch you. :)
Christian, way to go, man. The Albrecht family has been thinking about you and praying for you since we found out about your situation. Looks like things are getting better every day! This truly was an inspiring video. Our cousin just got in a bad car accident last night and is now in the same building you are. Hopefully she'll get some of your good vibes and can make the strides that you have made!
Christian I know your mom from the Treehouse and Falling Waters. She is an incredible woman and I see where you get your great looks from. I have never personally met you but after reading your story and progress you are a truly motivational man, so positive and strong willed. You bring a tear to the eye and big smile to my face with each post. Keep up the good work! Sherry Rice
Truly inspiring and amazing! To see how far you have come and how determined you are is awesome. However, not to down play your physical progress but you spirit and attitude are what are truly infectious! God is using this experience for MANY great things - hard to understand why but He is. Lots of love and God's Peace to you! Chad Larsen
It has been so interesting to read about Christian's journey; interesting hard and interesting amazing. I have gone from laughig to crying as I re-live what you are going though. I cannot look at a halo without a shudder going through my body. Somewhere in my head, seeing it brings back smells and sounds of Art's 4 1/2 month hospital stay as if it was yesterday. I also have my heart flooded with gratitude of the miracle of it all. Of a love from God that is hard to comprehend, that he would allow the kind of pain and suffering that Christian is going through to occur. It is one of the most powerful tools to strengthen the soul and spirit to an extent that is almost incomprehensible. Life truly becomes about this love, the miracle of it, and the miracle of all the tiny moments (sometimes infantisimal moments) of progress and endurance--all added up for what we call life. Some miracles really do take time. I know you all ready do--and that you will more and more--thank God that life is hard; that our Savior bore the hardest road of all so that our hardships and pain and burdens will be light through him. You will continue to be in our prayers.
Hey Christian, you've made some stunning progress! Who knows, now I might be able to beat you to all the best holes...or at the very least keep up with you;) See you soon...C, I noticed that they'll let just about anyone up there to see you nowadays...so please don't be surprised when you see my smiling mug :)
