We Beg Forgiveness

Dear "Anonymous" Readers,

  2. Christian,

Get better amigo--came by Monday but you were out. I was planning on coming by today but, after reading the new visitation policy, being part of "PNG" probably won't pass the "family" test.

Stay strong--you are in our prayers.

  4. I don't know Christian but I'm friends with Becca Moench who posted on FB about him. I am praying for Christian and included him in a fast this week. I'm pulling for his recovery and hope that he and all the people who support him have the strength they need!

  5. Hey Christian,

You don't know me - I stumbled onto your blog from a link over on the TGR forum.

Your story hits close to home for me. I am a PT over at the University of Utah Hospital and I specialize in spinal cord injury rehab so I understand better than most what you are going through right now.

Last fall I took a header on my own mountain bike. I couldn't move or feel much of anything for a couple minutes. Fortunately, it all came back pretty fast and I am OK now, but it was sure an eye opener for me. Reading your story definitely brought back some memories.

Keep working hard in rehab and don't give up the fight. Let me know if you would like any info. on adaptive sports programs once you get out of the hospital - I'd be happy to put you in touch with some great people. From your blog it sounds like your injury is incomplete, and I think you'll be surprised how much you may be able to do. If I can do anything else for your or your family in the meantime, please don't hesitate to ask.

    Good luck with your rehab!
